The Irish Hospice Foundation has funded a small number of bursaries to support attendance and presentation at the conference by delegates from low to middle income countries. 17 to 20 September 2013 - African Palliative Care Association - 4th triennial conference
Johannesburg, South Africa
The theme of the conference is The net effect: Spanning diseases, crossing borders. The conference aims to develop new partnerships to attract members of the global health community who may have not had direct exposure to palliative care in their field of work.
The conference is also expanding the target audience to include partners from Francophone and Lusophone countries that have traditionally had low participation in the global palliative care dialogue.
