The Wolfson international bursary grant programme aims to increase and improve the provision of palliative care in resource-poor Commonwealth countries.
Eligible courses
Bursaries are available to attend one of the listed courses, or a particular year of multi-year courses.
To apply you must be:

living and working in one of the commonwealth resource poor countries named in the eligible country list

working for an organisation that will directly benefit from a palliative care course one of their employees undertakes

a clinicial staff member - nurses, doctors or clinical officers.
Individuals can apply for up to £1,500 in any twelve months.
There are no deadlines but applications must be received before the start of the course or the next academic year if the course lasts longer than twelve months.
As the budget is limited, once the funds have been allocated the programme will close. From initial application to funding decision could take up to six weeks.
