These guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations on pain treatment to improve the management of pain in children experiencing persistant pain.
This package consists of four publications:
•WHO guidelines on the pharmacological treatment of persisting pain in children with medical illnesses.
•Three brochures with important information for physicians and nurses, pharmacists, policy-makers and medicines regulatory authorities, hospital managers and health insurance managers.
Additional tools including a dosing card and pain scales for children are also availaible.
